Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
- The App Store version collects and sends no personal data. No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking.
- Your progress is saved only on your device.
- Game Center and the in-app purchase are handled by Apple.
- Test versions (TestFlight and the Android beta) send gameplay data only if you agree.
1. Who is responsible
Hestia’s Last Flame is a game by David Tapias, an independent developer based in Andorra. For any privacy question, write to support@quefem.online.
Andorra’s personal data protection law (Llei 29/2021) applies and, for people living in the European Union or the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. App Store version
Data stored on your device
The game stores your progress (missions, stars, records, daily challenge), your settings and whether you bought “The Whole Flame” on your iPhone. That file never leaves the device: we do not send it to any server and we do not use iCloud. Deleting the app deletes your progress. iPhone backups may include it, depending on your Apple account settings.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, the game sends Apple the achievements you earn and your daily challenge scores. Depending on your Game Center settings, other players may see your nickname and score on the leaderboards. Apple handles that data under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your name or Apple ID; we only see what Apple shows on the leaderboards. If you are not signed in, nothing is sent.
“The Whole Flame” purchase
Payment is processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details or your Apple ID: the app only receives confirmation that the purchase exists, so it can unlock and restore the game.
Information Apple gives us
Apple may give us aggregate statistics (for example, downloads or sales per country) and crash reports if you agreed to share them with developers in your iPhone settings. That information does not tell us who you are.
3. Test versions (TestFlight and Android beta)
Test versions help us tune the game before release. The first time you open the map we ask whether you want to share data from your runs. If you say no, nothing is sent. You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Log.
What is sent if you agree
- A random identifier created on your device. It is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID or Google account.
- For each run: mission, difficulty, boons and Trials, nights held, flame health, buildings bought or lost, Athena’s falls, use of abilities and orders, duration, result, and whether the purchase screen was seen or tapped.
- The game language, the game version and the device model.
Your name, email, location, contacts and advertising identifiers are never sent.
Why, and on what basis
To tune the difficulty and fix bugs. The legal basis is your consent (under Andorran law and, in the EU, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time in Settings → Log. Withdrawing it does not affect data sent before.
Where it is stored, and for how long
With Supabase, acting as data processor, on servers in the European Union (Paris, France). The server may log the IP address temporarily for technical and security reasons; we do not store it with your runs. Gameplay data is deleted at the latest 12 months after it is collected.
TestFlight
If you test the game through TestFlight, Apple also shares with the developer the information TestFlight itself collects: the email we invited you with, any feedback and screenshots you send, and crash reports, under the TestFlight terms.
Exporting the log
In Settings → Log you can export the log of your runs. Your device’s share menu opens and you choose who receives it.
4. Children
The App Store version collects no personal data from anyone, children included. Test versions only send data with the consent described above.
5. Your rights
You can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to its processing, or ask for its restriction or portability, by writing to support@quefem.online. As test-version data carries no name, tell us your device model and the approximate dates you played so we can find it. If you think we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Andorran Data Protection Agency (www.apda.ad) or to the data protection authority where you live.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version here with its date.
